STOP ASIAN HATE VIGIL
During the height of the Stop Asian Hate movement, we organized a vigil to honor the victims of the Atlanta spa shootings. This vigil gave our community a safe space to grieve together and find solace in one another.

Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival by sharing mooncakes, making lanterns, and reading stories of how different Asian cultures honor the Harvest moon.
2022 LUNAR NEW YEAR | YEAR OF THE TIGER
Ringing in the Lunar New Year at The Nelle by creating a space for Asian-owned small businesses to pop-up, telling the story of Emperor Jade and the Great Race, handing Li Xi to all the children in attendance, and enjoying traditional and contemporary cultural performances.
2022 AAPI HERITAGE FESTIVAL | ASIANS MAKING WAVES
Putting on our very first AAPI celebration for our community. In addition to a huge array of Asian-owned businesses popping up, and performances highliting Asian artists, we amplified our narrative with a panel of Asian community members sharing our lived experiences.
GRAND OPENING OF CAFÉ CÀ PHÊ'S BRICK AND MORTAR
Ribbon cutting for Kansas City's first Vietnamese coffeeshop Café Cà Phê, where Hella Good Deeds started out a Community Outreach Program.
2022 MID-AUTUMN MOON FESTIVAL
Our first community event following Café Cà Phê's grand opening. Having this event on-site was so special, and we took in the significance by sharing bite-sized mooncakes and Harvest moon activities.
2023 LUNAR NEW YEAR | YEAR OF THE CAT
Pho Hien Lion Dance Troupe putting on a spectacular traditional dance to wish everyone a Happy Year of the Cat at Made Mobb. Asian vendors sold food, goods, and kids got to make their own Li Xi. Once completed, we gifted them with a crisp dollar bill, symbolizing good fortune for the upcoming year.
2023 AAPI HERITAGE FESTIVAL | AAPIconic
Second annual AAPI celebration at Columbus Park that included a fashion show for AAPI descendants to strut their stuff proudly wearing their culture's traditional attire, in addition to providing the space for the community to support Asian-owned businesses.
2023 MID-AUTUMN MOON FESTIVAL
Held at 12th Street Post, where we had Asian-owned small businesses pop up, made lanterns with guests of all ages, and sang traditional lantern songs.
The White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders
Gathered Asian stakeholders in the greater Kansas City metro to convene at the WHIAANHPI to hear from federal officials on how to uplift the Asian community in the Unites States.
2024 LUNAR NEW YEAR | YEAR OF THE DRAGON
We had a record number of lions dancing in the street for Lunar New Year during the day at Café Cà Phê, and celebrated into the night with an Asian Night Market in the West Bottoms.
2024 AANHPI HERITAGE FESTIVAL | AANHPIDENTITY
For our 3rd annual AANHPI celebration, we were honored to have the newly opened CPKC Stadium, home of the Kansas City Current, serve as the venue for our festivities and show their love and support for the Asian community.

A more intimate celebration this year, we made paper lanterns to officially open the newly built back deck of Café Cà Phê, and reminded everyone to take in the gorgeous full moon.
