HERITAGE SERIES
Celebrating culture. Preserving tradition. Building connection.
Our Heritage Series creates joyful opportunities for people to gather, learn, practice traditions, and pass them on to future generations.
Programs include our Lunar New Year Night Market, The Art of Being AANHPI Heritage Festival, Mid-Autumn Moon Wellness Fair, and Conversation Club, where heritage speakers can practice speaking their family language in community.

Through resource navigation, mental health access, community-led programs, volunteer engagement, and wellness initiatives, Hella Good Care strengthens the systems of support surrounding our community.

Jade Market is a year-round marketplace and gathering space that supports Asian entrepreneurs, makers, artists, and small businesses.
Through retail, workshops, pop-ups, cultural experiences, and everyday access to Asian products, Jade Market helps build a stronger and more visible Asian economy in Kansas City.

Hella Good Stories documents and shares the lived experiences of Kansas City’s Asian community so our stories are remembered, celebrated, and passed forward.
Through oral histories, documentary projects, interviews, archives, and community storytelling, we are building a record of the people who have shaped our community.
Hella Heard
Helping our community understand, access, and participate in civic life.
Hella Heard empowers community members to make their voices heard and help shape the future of our city.
Programs may include citizenship classes, voter education, Know Your Rights workshops, civic leadership development, advocacy training, public service opportunities, and support for serving on boards and commissions.
