Monthly, we gather for a gentle and creative space to reconnect and activate our creativity, all willl being guided by Ngan Vuong, PhD, licensed clinical psychologist, alongside facilitation from Third Pine Collective. Think of it as a mini creative retreat or artist residency, right here in community.
Thanks to the Reach Foundation, beginning late Fall 2025, we will open applications to receive 8 zero-cost sessions of one-on-one therapy with a licensed through our Hella Healing Fund.
Hella Good Stories is all about shining a light on the incredible stories from Kansas City’s Asian community. Each episode is short and sweet—just 5 to 10 minutes—so listeners can enjoy quick, meaningful glimpses into our shared experiences.
We have partnered with Zhou B Art Center to host Zhou B's Hella Good Fridays! Once a month we will curate hella casual events with fun activations for our Asian community and Asian allies to connect and hang.
Our first annual Mid Autumn Wellness Fair, complete with translators and volunteer guides, is slated to serve our community Fall 2025. This fair will offer a wide range of health services to our low-income and medically underserved elders and peers who may have difficulty navigating an English-dominant healthcare system.
